CHRISTUS Children’s Initiative
The CHRISTUS Children’s Initiative is a membership-based giving platform composed of passionate, philanthropic leaders committed to advancing children’s health care in San Antonio and South Central Texas. Recognizing the collective impact of their giving, members of the CHRISTUS Children’s Initiative are empowered to directly allocate their shared funds to address immediate needs at CHRISTUS Children’s, the only non-profit, freestanding children’s hospital in San Antonio.
Funds raised through this program have launched notable programs at the hospital, including:
- NICVIEW – a secure, web-based video stream that provides family members access to their newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit.
- H.E.R.O. Center – a dedicated space focused on empowering caregivers with comprehensive education on enteral feeding tubes tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
Mission Statement
Through the power of collective giving, the CHRISTUS Children’s Initiative raises essential funds for groundbreaking improvements in kids’ health care at CHRISTUS Children’s. By supporting the immediate needs of patients and families at CHRISTUS Children’s, we aim to foster a healthier future for our children.

Membership begins at $1,000, with various opportunities available for individuals and businesses seeking to support this vital cause.
