The Children’s Initiative

Delivering Promises in Children’s Health care

The Children’s Initiative was created by an emerging, passionate group of philanthropic leaders in our community committed to supporting children’s health care in San Antonio and South-Central Texas. Recognizing the power of their collective giving, members of the Children’s Initiative are granted the unique ability to direct their shared funds to a program in immediate need.

Each year, Children’s Initiative leadership will select a limited number of programs from CHRISTUS Children’s to present at their annual awards event. In order to create the most impact out of their donation, members will vote on how to direct their combined funds after learning about the frontline care needed for children in San Antonio and South-Central Texas.

By making an annual gift to the Children’s Initiative, household members receive exclusive access to events, benefits, opportunities to connect, voting rights at the annual awards event, and membership to the Children’s Initiative for one calendar year.
