The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Opens New Cancer Outpatient Center

The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio announced the completion of its outpatient pediatric hematology/oncology clinic in a grand opening ceremony held today. Thanks to a generous $3 million grant from Valero Energy Foundation, previously announced, the 7th floor of the Hospital has been transformed into a spacious new treatment area with 12 examination rooms, four private rooms, four open bay areas, a dedicated pharmacy, a family waiting room, play area and administrative offices that will ensure key staff members are nearby to assist families with social services and special needs.
