Children's Miracle Network Hospital Champion

Meet Nolan

2023 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Champion

Nolan was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a cancer of the retina, in January 2019. His left eye was surgically removed. Eight weeks after surgery, Nolan was fitted for a prosthetic eye – his “superhero eye,” as he likes to call it. In August of the same year, Nolan underwent chemotherapy at CHRISTUS Children’s, and completed treatment in January 2020. Today, Nolan is active and thriving. He loves reading, hanging out with his little brother, and recently started playing t-ball.
