Club Car Wash

Month-long Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraiser will benefit local children

(SAN ANTONIO) – Club Car Wash is excited to announce its upcoming May fundraising campaign to raise vital funds for CHRISTUS Children’s, a proud member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals).

From May 1-31, Club Car Wash invites customers to donate during their visit or participate in onsite fundraisers, all in support of CHRISTUS Children’s. Every dollar raised will stay in our community, helping CHRISTUS Children’s provide life-changing medical care and critical support services to pediatric patients and their families.

“We are thrilled to partner with Club Car Wash again this year,” said Theo Meyer, director of philanthropy at CHRISTUS Children’s Foundation. “As a nonprofit hospital, we rely on the generosity of our donors and the strength of our community to support the high-quality care our patients need to thrive. Club Car Wash and its customers continue to show incredible generosity and commitment to our mission.”

In 2024, Club Car Wash raised an impressive $85,642 for CHRISTUS Children’s through a variety of initiatives, including year-round fundraisers, National Carwash Day, $12 Tuesday promotions, air freshener campaigns and more. This May, Club Car Wash and CHRISTUS Children’s aim to build on their success and make an even greater impact for children and families across San Antonio, South Texas and beyond.

About Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals:

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals was founded more than 40 years ago with the vision to Change Kids’ Health, Change the Future. We’ve raised over $8.5 billion for 170 children’s hospitals by empowering and engaging with local communities and businesses – and we’re not done yet. All donations benefit local member hospitals to fund what’s needed most, like critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays, and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these health services. Together, we can change kids’ health. Together, we can change the future. To learn about Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and your local member children’s hospital, visit cmnhospitals.org.

Celebrating CowParade San Antonio: Online auction now open to support CHRISTUS Children’s

(SAN ANTONIO) —The excitement of CowParade San Antonio reached new heights as supporters, art lovers and community leaders gathered at the historic Red Berry Estate for the live auction of 16 artist-designed cows. Guests enjoyed an evening of dinner, bidding and celebration last night to support life-saving care at CHRISTUS Children’s in areas like pediatric heart, neurosurgery and cancer treatment. “The live auction event is not just about the art, but about what the art makes possible,” said Terry Kyle, CEO and chief development officer at CHRISTUS Children’s Foundation. “Each cow represents creativity, generosity and above all, hope. The funds raised will directly support the children and families who depend on us every day. We are so grateful to our community for stepping up in such a big way.” The live auction may be complete, but some of the herd still need a place to call home. More than 50 cows are now available through the online auction, open now through Oct. 10. These life-sized works of art can be purchased for homes, businesses or even donated to local nonprofits and organizations. Each cow is a chance to own a piece of San Antonio history and art while making a difference.   Throughout the summer, the cows served as colorful beacons for the children and families receiving care at CHRISTUS Children’s, symbols of joy, strength and community support. Now, as they find their permanent homes, their legacy will continue to shine in San Antonio and beyond. Community members are encouraged to visit the CHRISTUS CowParade website to view the online gallery and place their bids today.
