Talavaca

I’m a graphic designer, so art has always been part of my life. A few years ago, I began taking meditation classes, attending psychology workshops, and exploring self-healing through reading.

Little did I know that painting would become the tool that brought all these elements together. Through painting, I found a new passion and a way to redefine myself. It’s been a healing and empowering journey that continues to inspire my work today.

The “Talavaca” design was inspired by the traditional white and blue Talavera ceramics from my hometown, Puebla, Mexico. This design is most representative of my style since I try to incorporate elements from my Hispanic Heritage in most of my pieces, while celebrating San Antonio’s rich cultural and Hispanic influence.
