Moonica and the Lost Astronaut

I started as a muralist at the age of six, drawing on my mom’s walls with chalk. In my early 20’s, I was admitted to one of the top universities in Colombia to study Arts. I moved to the US in 2016 and started Silvy Art Studio two years later.

In Moonica and the Lost Astronaut, I invite viewers to contemplate the universal human experience of feeling lost and the importance of seeking help. This surrealist masterpiece presents a poignant metaphor for navigating life’s uncertainties. Moonica and the Lost Astronaut is an ode to the resilience of the human spirit, a reminder that even in the darkest of times and spaces, hope and guidance can be found in the most unexpected places.
